Why I'm running for Indiana House District 54

I'm running for District 54 Representative because our government is too expensive, and our current legislators are intent on making it more expensive. I'm running because our government is too intrusive, and our current legislators are intent on making it more intrusive.

I'm running because the current District 54 Representative, Tom Saunders, favors retaining property taxes, and voted against the Constitutional caps on those taxes because he is concerned that such caps would deny future legislators the flexibility they might need to raise taxes in the future.

I'm running because I'm more concerned about the taxpayers than I am about the legislators. I'm running because any tax that allows the government to set some arbitrary amount of money that you owe them for the privilege of owning a home, land, or business, and then allows them to seize your home, land, or business if you can't pay them that amount, is wrong, and needs to be eliminated.

If you would like to have a Representative who will put the taxpayers interests above the governments interests, who will fight to repeal property taxes, and who will fight unnecessary spending to keep other taxes low, vote for me, Rex Bell, for District 54 Representative this November 4th.
