Stimulating the economy and the proper role of government…
A lot of the fiscal problems we face as a nation would be lessened or eliminated by a vibrant economy. Republicans and Democrats have tried to produce a vibrant economy through taxpayer-funded bailouts, corporate protectionism, complicated and excessive taxation, and business stifling regulation. Their efforts have left us trillions of dollars in debt, with more debt being added every minute of every day.
Government does not and cannot create real wealth or a thriving economy. That job belongs to the private sector, and it operates much more efficiently without the weight of government on its back. Government should exist to protect its citizens from force and fraud, not to control or regulate the voluntary interactions of consenting adults in the business world or in our private lives.
